Kaiya Greenspear

Kaiya Greenspear is the daughter of king Adrian Greenspear, and is the princess of the city of Ivers. She is second in line for the throne, behind her cousin Damian Greenspear.

In Service to Ivers

Kaiya does not like staying in one place for too long. When she turned eighteen, she joined the Ivers army along with her childhood friend Marcus Mercer. They rose quickly through the ranks, though they took separate paths. Kaiya formed a small unit which operates outside of the normal chain of command, and reports to General Mercer directly. This unit, Ivers' Blade, can occasionally be seen operating in and around the various townships of Shorefire Realms.

Relationship with Marcus Mercer

Kaiya is nearly the same age as Marcus, being born less than a year after him. They grew up together in the city of Ivers, under the supervision of the castle's aides. While they never developed a romantic relationship, they have always been very close. Kaiya frequently visits Marcus while he is on assignment throughout the Realms, and Marcus knows more about the operations of Ivers' Blade than even his father.
