Jezibel is a neutral evil Succubus deity representing vengeance and sexuality. She has a personal vendetta against several members of The Wiggles, both current and retired.

History

Beginnings

Jezibel was the only Succubus to make it to Shorefire Realms after The Exodus. Having been a slave to a demon master all her life, she found the new land to be a fresh start, and decided to pursue happiness, something denied to her from birth. At first, she lived in the forests and explored mountains, avoiding people for fear of what her nature might make her do. After fifty years, and discovering that in this new land she is immortal, she realized she could not be alone forever. Jezibel decided to settle in the small swamp town of Bakvar under the guise of Jessie, a human woman. There she opened a tinkerer's shop, and soon found herself falling in love with a man called Monty. It was difficult to resist using her powers of seduction on him, but decided if she was to leave her old life behind, that must be her new way. In this land, few knew of Succubi and their powers, and fewer still believed they existed anymore. For the first time, Jezibel lived among people and felt no scorn or fear. She was, for the first time, at peace.

Brewing Trouble

A life without conflict was never a possibility for Jezibel, despite her efforts. It turned out Monty was the grandson of one of four witches living in the swamp, a woman named Nellie, a conjurer of light. She recognized Jezibel 's true form, and threatened to bring the witches against her and save Monty if Jezibel did not leave both him and the Foggy Glades, the swamp in which Bakvar is situated. Jezibel refused, and instead recruited four trolls to prevent the witches from entering the town. A stalemate was reached, temporarily. It endured for three months - until a band of adventurers entered town seeking a small white gem, which they found had been purchased by a man named Monty and sewn into a dress for his girlfriend.

Nobody Wins

The band of adventurers took a job to kill the trolls, which Nellie was already fighting when they arrived. After two trolls fled and one was killed, Jezibel intervened and called off the remaining troll for the time being. Having revealed her true form to the adventurers, Jezibel explained the conflict between herself and Nellie, who told the story in a different light. Convinced the Succubus had captured the mind of her grandson, Nellie sought his freedom, while Jezibel, who had never cast a spell on him and had come to truly love him, believed he would never accept her for who she truly was. The adventurers believed Monty would see the good in Jezibel, and sought to bring peace between the three. So a couple of party members went to Bakvar and brought Monty back. Seeing Monty approach, Jezibel changed into her human form and claimed ignorance of events when accused by the party of being a Succubus. Seeing this, one of the party members cast Dispel Magic on her, and she reverted to her Succubus form. Her fears were confirmed when Monty became upset and left her standing in the swamp, and later broke her heart by calling her a monster and a liar. He soon after joined the Thieves Guild and left town. Nellie blamed the adventurers for their foolhardy action causing the loss of her grandson and returned to the Foggy Glades. Jezibel swore vengeance on the adventurers, blaming them for ruining the one good thing she had achieved in her life, and for crushing her last hope of not being evil. The adventurers didn't get their gem.

Ascention

Knowing she could no longer live among people, Jezibel realized she would need more succubi and incubi if she were to no longer be alone. She devised and executed a plan to secretly impregnate the young women of Harborside, whose children could be cursed to burst from their mothers' wombs, born as demonic creatures. While she waited for her young to cultivate, Jezibel devised a series of coincidences to make life difficult for the adventuring band who had caused her to embrace her inner evil. Her plan was not to kill them, but to slowly take all they held dear. Several of these plans came to fruition, deepening her connection to the darkness within her. When her children were ready, she went to Harborside and triggered the curse. The adventuring party, who at this point had started calling themselves The Wiggles, tried in vain to stop Jezibel from collecting her young and escaping with them into the darkness of night. For resurrecting her race, Jezibel ascended to become the deity of vengeance and sexuality.

Appearance and Personality

Clothing

Jezibel wears an elegant black form-fitting dress that covers her from the neck to her ankles. A split begins from quarter-way down the left thigh to allow her freedom of movement. She wears no jewelry, and flat heeled shoes.

Appearance

Jezibel has wavy auburn hair which runs to about four inches below the shoulder. Her features are soft and her skin appears unblemished through magical seeming. She stands five feet and eleven inches tall. She has shorter horns than most succubi, and they are largely obscured by her hair. She has deep, forest green eyes. Jezibel does not have partial scaling as many succubi do - apart from her horns, tail, and wings she appears human. In fact, she often uses light magical effects to hide these features and walk among people, searching for victims.

Personality

When under Jezibel's gaze, you feel disquiet. Her smile is becoming, but filled with malice. The most perceptive will find her expression one of allure, thinly masking hunger - as a predator tempting her prey closer.
