== Outside Contact ==
Until the year 304, there were only four recorded incidents of contact with an Aquan. The first two were brief sightings by a naval vessel in the years 211 and 266; the second was an Aquan man saving an elven boy from drowning in the year 281, and the fourth was the corpse of an Aquan man washed up on the shore outside [[Harborside]] in the year 292.

In 304, an adventuring band called [[The Wiggles]] made contact with an Aquan woman who had swum through a series of underground tunnels to [[Moonshine Basin]]. After determining they were not hostile and discovering their adventuring habits, she beseeched their aid in saving her people from a Kraken. During these events, an Aquan named [[Nolan]] joined the Wiggles with the intent to learn about the world above the sea.
